When you decide to take the first step, One Planet Solar will conduct a complete solar site analysis. This entails a visit from One Planet Solar to determine the best type of system for your home. This is accomplished by using solar tools such as the solar pathfinder.

Once the site survey is complete, our team of experienced designers will start on the system design. This will include calculating the appropriate racking, solar modules, wiring, disconnects, meters, and permits. Grant writing assistance is available upon request. The type of system makes a difference in the cost. The design stage takes about one to two weeks depending on the type and size.

After the customer approves the design, the installation date will be set based on the delivery of the solar modules and other equipment. The One Planet Solar, Inc., crew will install a system in 3-4 days, depending on the size and type. Our master electrician will complete the final hookup to the grid.
